With the advances in technology, dental X-rays can now be taken with digital sensors that can directly transmit the image on a computer monitor. Popularly known as RVG(RadioVisio Graphy) the digital x-ray system reduces the radiation exposure upto 99% than conventional x-rays. Moreover, they give a much better and clearer picture and is also faster than the conventional xrays. Lastly, they are also environment friendly as no chemical solutions are required to develop the xray film. We are proud to own India’s leading digital x-ray system.
The intraoral camera is literally a magic wand that enables the patient to play peek a boo with his/her oral cavity. From a tiny cavity to a grossly decayed tooth, it can all be seen on the computer monitor with the camera. As the name indicates, it enables the dentist the capture pictures of the patient’s oral cavity which makes it very easy for the patient to visualize the differences in mouth pre treatment and post treatment.
Our waiting room is equipped with patient educational material like books and DVDs to familiarize the patient with dental treatment.
The treatment room includes a monitor attached to the dental chair and is equipped with DVDs that are of interest to the child patient. This deviates the patient’s attention from the dental treatment thus significantly lowering the dental anxiety levels.
An uncooperative patient who is unable to get the treatment done under normal behavior management techniques, can be treated at the clinic under conscious sedation. Conscious sedation is a state of altered consciousness that allows the patient to retain his airway and protective reflexes and respond appropriately to physical stimulation and/or verbal command.
General anesthesia is a medication-induced loss of consciousness during which patients are not arousable, even by painful stimulation. Is used for very small children, or for those who are highly uncooperative, for medically compromised children and for children who require lot of treatments in single visit.
